Karate Classes for Children and Adults

Seibukan is a style of karate that originated in Okinawa, Japan. Passed down in a short linage from the original masters. It incorporates many movements from a ninety degree stance and emphasizes the learning of correct, precise movements through repetition of katas and forms. Aggressiveness and the ability to block and instantaneously counterattack are the basic principles of our style. These principles date back to Chotoku Kyan, one of Okinawa’s greatest karate masters.

Seibukan is neither a soft nor hard style. It is powerful and precise, but at the same time requires speed as well as agility.

Seibukan is taught and learned today practically how it was learned and taught centuries before.

Karate is the perfect vehicle for developing the ability to face one’s fears, ambitions, strengths, and weaknesses. This allows a person to build confidence, insight, self-respect, and alertness.

The Fudo Yama Karate-Jutsu teaches in an atmosphere of mutual respect and dignity with a commitment to excellence. The Sensei is aware of different learning styles and works so that all students may succeed.

All black belt instructors are required to pass rigorous testing and must maintain this level of excellence. This is done in order to provide the highest quality of instruction to those who desire to learn.

The Sensei at the Fudo Yama Karate-Jutsu themselves remain students of Seibukan Karate and participate in continual updated training as members of the Seibukan Yudansha Kai.
